You Clicked on “I Have Lived a Good Life”

God wants us all to live good lives, but because of
the sin nature we have inherited from our original parents it is impossible for us to live up to the
standards of God.

The Bible says, “All have sinned and come short
of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23). Many people
believe that at the judgement all their good will be weighed against their bad, and as long as they have done enough good they will have a chance of getting into heaven. However, this Scripture makes it clear that the “weighing” is not between our good and
our bad, but between our whole lives (good and bad together) and the glory and goodness of God. None of us has a chance in that comparison.

But God has provided an answer.
